Borbála Bánhegyiis a student at Centre for European Studies in Kraków. She graduated in Budapest in International Relations. In CEL she is co-responsible of the Facebook Page.

Andreas Rajchl studies in a Double Degree Programme with UCL in London and the Centre for European Studies at Jagiellonian University. He graduated in Business, Economics and Social Sciences at Vienna University of Business and Economics in Austria and spent a study abroad year at Edinburgh University in Scotland. Andreas held internship positions with Unicredit Group, Siemens AG and the Austrian Embassy in London. He was also part of of the Vienna Model United Nations Conference as a member of statff. Andreas is the initiator and main coordinator of CEL and is responsible for the general organisation, project concept, programme, speakers, funding, and leading the organising committee.

Ana Mihaljević is doing a double-degree in the International Master in Economy, State and Society (IMESS) within the partnership between the University College London and the Jagiellonian University’s Centre for European Studies. She has a master degree in Political Science from the University of Zagreb, Croatia, acquired in 2010 on the topic of Israeli- Palestinian conflict. She has experience in working in various organizations of regional character and more recently, in the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs. In the organizational team for CEL she is a member of the Program Team.

Anna Melnyk is MA student in Europeanization and Governance in CEE at Centre for European Studies. She graduated from Institute of international relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She worked as a writer for an English-Ukrainian biweekly digest on aerospace, defence and security industries “Aerospace and defense industry news digest – Ukraine”. Last summer she was an intern in NSPA Project Office in Ukraine. In CEL she is a member of the program team.

Programme

General Organisation

Rebecca Großmann is currently studying European Studies within the IMESS Erasmus Mundus MA programme at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London and the Centre for European Studies at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She holds an M.A. in Language Typology from the University of Mainz in Germany. In the past, she was a student representative at the University of Mainz and UCL SSEES and interned with the Deutsches Polen-Institut Darmstadt as well as the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation in Warsaw. Rebecca is part of the CEL Coordinating Committee and team lead for guest speaker recruitment.

Michael Mariner is a student at Jagiellonian University. He a former intern for the United States Embassy in Madrid and an aspiring diplomat. In CEL he was occupied with funding recruitment.

Koen Cloostermans is a student of Central and Eastern European Studies at the Centre for European Studies in Kraków. He did his BA in European Studies at the University of AMsterdam. During his studies in the Netherlands he was a member of AEGEE, the European Students forum, for many years. In CEL he works in the group for the recruitment of guest speakers.

Marketing & Promotion

Justin Temple is a first-year student in the MA in European Studies program at the Center for European Studies, specializing in Europeanization and Governance in Central and Eastern Europe. He graduated from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, with a degree in International Affairs. In CEL he is leading the marketing team and contributed on developing the programme and recruiting guest speakers.

Eléa Jacquet is a student of the Double Degree Program of European Politics run by the Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian University and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques at the University of Strasbourg. She gratuated in Political Sciences at University Lumière of Lyon in France. She was an intern at the LAGS of Epinal and was responsible for the cooperation with third regions. In CEL she is co-responsible for the Facebook Page.

Elizabeth Peck is completing her second year of an Erasmus Mundus MA through the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies (SSEES) at UCL and the Centre for European Studies at UJ. She previously volunteered with refugee resettlement agencies in her home state of Colorado, and has worked in the fields of education, graphic design, urban planning, and public administration. She co-responsible for designing the logo and promotional materials for CEL.

Adrian Favero is studying European Studies at the Centre for European Studies. He graduated in Political Science at the University of Zurich, Switzerland and Primary Education at the Teachers College in Rorschach, Switzerland. He was working as a teacher in different schools in Switzerland and abroad and was Head of Delegation in the Burkina Faso partnership supported by the Swiss Scout Association. In CEL he is part of the design team and responsible for the Logo.

Lana Ravel is half-Croatian half-French. She has graduated her bachelor degree from a preparatory school at Dijon (France) and is currently studying in a Double Master's Degree of European Politics (Sciences Po Strasbourg-Jagiellonian University Krakow). She is in charge of the promotion of the conference, especially through the journal New Eastern Europe.

Claudia Gawlas is in a Double Degree Programme with the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Strasbourg and the Centre for European Studies. She was in Preparatory Class in Versailles during three years and at the same time she was graduated in History and Geography at University of La Sorbonne in Paris. In CEL she is responsible for communications and promotions.

Jette Wienprecht is in a Double Degree Programme with IEP Strasbourg and the Centre for European Studies. She graduated in European Studies at University of Magdeburg in Germany. She was an intern at German Historic Institute in Moscow and at the German Culture Forum for Eastern Europe in Potsdam. She worked in the German Bundestag as Specialist in Media and Information Service. In CEL she is responsible for the Webpage.

Borbála Bánhegyi is a first-year student in the MA in European Studies program at the Center for European Studies. She graduated from the Institute for International Studies at the Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary in 2012. She was an intern at the Managing Authority for International Co-operation Programmes of the National Development Agency in Hungary. In CEL she is co-responsible for the Facebook Page.
